Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Walala (“we,” “us”) handles information when you use the ArtPhotos mobile application (the “App”). Please also read our Terms of Use.

1. Overview

ArtPhotos is a photo editing app that provides ticket-style templates, layout tools, and export features. Your photos and edits stay on your device by default. This policy explains what data we may process and how we protect your privacy.

2. Information We Collect

Photos and media library access — With your permission, the App can read photos, Live Photos, or videos you select for editing, layout, and export. Results are written to your photo library only when you choose to save.
Photo metadata — The App may read capture date, location, and EXIF data locally on your device to display ticket-style captions (such as date and city). All parsing is done on device; no metadata is uploaded.
Preferences — Settings such as templates, textures, and export preferences are stored locally on your device for convenience.
Device and diagnostic information — We do not currently collect account information that identifies you. If you report issues through system channels, Apple may process diagnostic data under its own policies.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not upload your photos to our servers.

2. How We Use Information

To provide core features including photo editing, template layout, export, and sharing;
To save your editing preferences locally and improve your experience;
To comply with applicable laws and regulations, or respond to lawful requests.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

When we have your explicit consent;
When required by laws, regulations, courts, or competent authorities;
When necessary to protect the lawful rights and interests of the App, users, or the public;
When you actively use system sharing features, the third-party app you choose receives the content you share and is responsible for its own privacy policy.

4. Storage and Security

Your photos and edited results are stored by default on your device or in the system photo library. We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data related to local features, but no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can change the App’s photo access permissions at any time in system Settings;
You can delete the App or clear its data on your device;
You can decline photo library access, though some features may be unavailable.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Third-Party Services

When you use system features such as Share or rate the App, you may be redirected to or invoke Apple systems, the App Store, or other third-party apps. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated Policy will be published in the App and take effect upon publication. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you in a reasonable manner.
